Pa Pa Ya Colaba, Mumbai

Pa Pa Ya - Opened by Zorawar Karla – Founder and Managing Director of Massive Restaurants Private Ltd. This is an Asian Gastropub located right behind the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel and Gateway of India. The interior is done up very tastefully, the first level is done up with a long bar high tables and bar chairs which gives it a lounge feel. On the above level is an elegant dining with a fine dine set up. This modern eatery serves up some delicious sushi, dimsums and a variety of appetisers and mains to please every palette. They have added a lot of new dishes to their existing menu. Each dish is presented beautifully and tastes as good as it looks if not better. Perfectly thought out cocktails and desserts taking inspiration from a lot of ingredients used in the cuisine will take your dining experience to the next level. The servers are well versed with the entire menu and have some very interesting knowledge to share with the guests. If you are an Asian food lover, this is necessary visit for you.
I was recently invited to review Pa Pa Ya Colaba and here are some of the cocktails and food that I loved and would recommend:
Started off with these Palate Cleansers.
Crispy Lotus Steam: Wok tossed dehydrated lotus stem, smoked honey chili, Sichuan pepper dust.

Fuku Sour: Lemongrass flavoured vodka, Galangal, dash of orange, pineapple.

Lamb and Mandarin Bee Hun Dimsums: Steamed minced lamb farce infused with mandarin, in potato and wheat starch molded into a flower.
Tokyo Summer: Gari infused vodka, hint of wasabi, apple juice.
Spicy Avocado Roll needs no description go explore! 
Asparagus Corn and Burnt Spring Onion Dimsums: Steamed Asparagus and Corn farce in potato and wheat starch moulded into a flower.
Sushi Tree - My kind  of tree
Long Island Iced Tea cause no review is complete with this cocktail. My all time favorite. Loved it!
Butayakitori, Apple and Betel leaf Tartare: Pork belly skewers glazed, chargrilled with sichimi, mirin and soya.                 
Konnyakuyaki, Tomato and Basil : Vegetarian version of Takoyaki, sriracha caviar.
Light House: Lemongrass flavoured vodka, Galangal, dash of orange, pineapple.
Layered Sushi Pizza, Zucchini Carpaccio, steamed edamame: This is our version of sushi which resembles small pizzettes, with crispy corn tortilla as the base with sushi rice layered on top, with zuccini slices, edamame pods and spicy mayo.
Prawn Tempura Roll highly recommended!!
Lichi Palate Cleanser
Stir Fried Noodles: Their version of hakka noodles with vegetables.
Lamb Randang Curry: Indonesian slow cooked curry served with Paratha.
Liquid Hazelnut Fondant Cake, Matcha, Blueberry Qenelle: Green tea and hazelnut flavored lava cake, served along with white peppercorn ice cream on the side.

Verdict: The entire dining experience was a culinary treat. The dishes were plated up very artistically and the flavors ticked all the boxes. Let me know about your Pa Pa Ya experiences till then Take care and Happy Sunday!
